New York Lawyer For Passengers Injured On Airplane

Commercial aircraft are designed to carry many passengers.  As a result of this, an aircraft can present passengers with very tight spaces for movement within the aircraft and this can result in accidents and passenger injury.  In the past we have seen numerous accidents that result in passenger injuries on an aircraft.  Types of accidents that seem to occur more often are service cart accidents and overhead bin accidents result in injuries to passengers.

Beverage cart and food service cart accidents

Many airlines offer beverage service to their passengers.  Some even offer food service.  These services are generally accomplished by a flight attendant moving a large steel cart down an aisle of the aircraft.  Sometimes these carts come in contact with seated passengers and cause injury.

If you have been injured by a beverage cart or a food service cart on a domestic or international flight contact the personal injury law firm of Hecht & Hecht, LLP  at (212) 226-2400.  We may be able to help you obtain compensation for your injuries.  Please call us for a free consultation.

Overhead bin accidents

Passengers entering an aircraft store their luggage and other belongings in the overhead bins of the aircraft.  After the passengers do this and sit down, before the aircraft leaves the gate, the overhead bins should be properly closed and latched so that they do not open during flight.  If an overhead bin opens during the flight and you were injured by an object that fell out of the over head bin, you may have the right to recover compensation for your injuries from the airline.  To find out what rights you may have, call the personal injury law firm of Hecht & Hecht, LLP at (212) 226-2400 for a free consultation.
